Appellation : Burgundy-Beaujolais Cru , AOC Moulin-À-Vent
Variety : 100% Gamay
Volume : 750ml
Vine: 40~80+ years
Aging : 16 months maturation (50% one-year oak barrels + 50% two-year oak barrels)
Tasting Note :
The 2017 vintage was a challenging and fascinating vintage, with poor climatic conditions and a low yield due to frosts when the grapes were growing. Winemaker Brice has selected 3 iconic districts - "Les Thorins", "Le Moulin-à-Vent", "Aux Caves", which are blended in the best proportions to create a rich and powerful wine. Deep red wine with a lavender tinge, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, with hints of spice and rose, peony, violet flowers. Medium bodied with fine tannins. Intense finish with a hint of spice.
