Tasting Note :
Founded in 1843 by Edmond Besserat, the famous Maison de Champagne “Négociant – Manipulant” Besserat de Bellefon offers this pink champagne of the mythical Cuvée des Moines, slightly sparking, and always available in the superb bottle of the 18th century.
The blend of this Cuvée Brut Rosé is composed of 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier.
A champagne bottle offering a dazzling pink color with salmon hues, fine and light bubbles. The nose is generous and refined, characterized first by red fruits aromas, then fragranted flowers like linden and hawthorn. On the palate, it develops first an acidulous sensation, followed by a voluminous and unctuous mouthfeel. Red fruits aromas dominates, and the final is intense, long and offers a spicy hint.
Cuvée des Moines Rosé Brut from Maison BESSERAT DE BELLEFON is a wonderful rosé champagne which is delicious during the meal. It is perfect when served with a tomato-based starter, sweet and sour cuisine and red fruits desserts.
