Tasting Note : One of the very few examples of a dry Gewiirztraminer in South Africa. Perfumed nose with good expression of spice, rose petals, Turkish delight and lychee fruit. Richly textured palate with hints of ginger, pineapple and floral notes, followed by a long finish and good palate weight. The wine's striking intensity is tempered by a delicate natural balance of delicious acidity with a touch of residual sugar. An elegant, complex wine with good ageing potential. To be enjoyed on its own or as an accompaniment to sushi, mild Thai dishes and soft cheeses.
